Four Of Family Killed In Accident Near Chilkur

Hyderabad: Four members of a family died on spot and four were injured after the auto they were travelling in hit a truck near Chilkur in Suryapet district on Friday morning.

The deceased have been identified as Md Afzal Miyan (55), his wife Gousiyan (48), their family members Mahmooda (35) and Maheen (12).

Chilkur police said that seven people of the family were travelling in the auto. Afzal Miyan's family from Mahbubabad was travelling from Huzurnagar to Kodad.

A truck coming from the other direction hit the auto at 6 am near MITS college on Huzurnagar-Kodad road and that left four dead, while four were seriously injured.

A case have been registered under Section 304-A and 337 of the IPC against the truck driver.

The driver is absconding.
