CM Ramesh’s Rithwik Projects Under Income Tax Scanner

Hyderabad: Income Tax raids continued for the second day on Telugu Desam Rajya Sabha MP CM Ramesh’s residence and offices. The raids lasted till midnight at his Hyderabad residence on Friday.

IT raids are underway at the offices of Rithwik projects private limited. At CM Ramesh brother-in-law Govardhan Naidu’s house in Banjara Hills Road No 12, too the raids are believed to have lasted till mid night, The IT sleuths are believed to have seized important papers, cash from the house. Two bank lockers belonging to him were also opened by the officials.

After mid night, Govardhan Naidu was taken to Rithwik projects private limited. Govardhan, it is learned handles the finances of the company. CM Ramesh’s brother Rajesh was also questioned as a part of the raids. There are chances for the raids to continue on both his office and residence on Saturday as well.
