Mystery Shrouds Death Of Kurnool Woman

Dhone: The body of a married woman was found suspiciously in a farm. Noticing head injuries on her body, parents of the deceased and her relatives alleged that she was killed by her husband.

Arjun, son of Harijana Marappa married Lalitha alias Pedda Maddakka (29), daughter of Harijana Nadipi Ellaiah of Dharmavaram town, 10 years ago. They have three children, Suryakala (8), Rakesh (6) and Akshara (4). During pregnancy, Lalitha suffered from severe health and hearing problems.

On Wednesday morning, the two went to the farm. At 2 pm, Arjun came home with the body of his wife saying she was found dead on the way to the farm. Noticing the injuries on her head, Lalitha's parents and villagers expressed doubts over her death.

Rural CI Sudhakar Reddy and SI Madhusudhan Rao reached the spot of the crime and shifted the body to a government hospital for autopsy. Police arrested Arjun and his brother and started investigation.
