Warangal Man Kills Newborn As He Wanted A Boy

Warangal: A man was arrested for allegedly killing his newborn baby girl as he wanted a boy. The incident occurred at Nellikuduru village of Mothirajupalli mandal.

According to reports, the couple Anitha and Eshwar belonging to Katta Kaluva Tanda have two daughters. On Friday, Anitha delivered a baby girl again at a primary health care centre in Warangal which disappointed Eshwar who expected a son.

On learning, it was a girl again, Eshwar spoke to the doctors saying that he does not want the child but the hospital staff counselled him and sent them home. After reaching their home, the accused reportedly killed the newborn, the police said.

A police case has been registered and are investigating.
