Oust CM, tainted ministers, demands Chandrababu

TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday demanded dismissal of tainted ministers and resignation of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy for shielding the ministers.

Addressing a media conference at his residence, Naidu said the Congress party was adopting dual standards. It had removed the tainted minister at the Centre, but was hesitating to take action against the tainted ministers in the State. He asked the Congress leadership why it was silent on the ministers whose names were figured in the CBI chargesheet.

If the Congress failed to remove the tainted ministers within a week, his party would launch protest rallies in all the assembly constituencies for three days from May 20, Naidu said and added that all the TDP MLAs, MLCs and MPs would participate in the protest rallies.
