The much-awaited teaser for the pan-India blockbuster "Pushpa 2" has recently been released. While fans were disappointed by the lack of dialogue in the teaser, one particular sequence has become the talk of the town - the Gangamma Jaathara sequence.

Director Sukumar has dedicated over 30 days to filming this elaborate Jaathara sequence on a specially constructed set at Allu Studios in Gandipet, Hyderabad. The production has spared no expense, with the sequence costing a staggering sum of more than ₹30 crores. This price tag includes the large number of people involved in the shoot, as well as the special makeup, lighting setups, artwork, and the use of a specialized Mocobot camera imported from Mumbai.

Moreover, the overall budget for the Jaathara sequence is expected to reach a whopping ₹50+ crores. This figure takes into account the remuneration for the star actors, pre-visualization, visual effects, sound design, and music production.

The exorbitant budget for this single sequence underscores the grand scale and ambition of "Pushpa 2: The Rule." The producers aim to cater to the pan-India audience who have already embraced the franchise's first installment. The highly anticipated sequel is scheduled to hit theaters on August 15th, 2024
