Medaram Jathara Begins 2024: Regular Passengers Face Inconvenience

The Medaram Jathara festival takes place biennially in the village of Medaram, located in the Tadvai Mandal within the dense forests of Mulugu district. Designated as a state festival in 1998, the Jathara is set to begin on February 21 and will run until February 24 this year.

VC Sajjanar, the Managing Director of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC), assured the public that adequate facilities have been arranged to facilitate transportation to the designated location.

He noted that regular bus services have been temporarily suspended to allocate the fleet for the Jathara event. Authorities emphasized the importance of safe travel for all commuters.
