IPL 2024 SRH v MI Match: Hyderabad Metro Extends Timings

Hyderabad: In view of the IPL match between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Mumbai Indians, the Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) has announced the extension of timings of the metro services today. 

The IPL match is set to begin at 7.30 pm at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in the city today. Taking the convenience and safety of the cricket fans into consideration the Hyderabad Metro has extended the timings beyond midnight. The last metro train will depart the Uppal stadium at 12.15 am and will reach the destination at 1.10 am, the officials said. Meanwhile, the Hyderabad Traffic Police has imposed traffic restrictions around the Uppal Traffic police area. 

Sunrisers lost to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their opening game while Mumbai suffered a loss against Gujarat Titans. The two teams are currently sitting seventh and eighth on the points table. The two teams competed against each other 21 times in the tournament with Mumbai having the upper hand against SRH with 12 wins.
