Rangabali Movie Review

Plot: Shaurya (Naga Shaurya) is a youngster who wants to get attention in his village Rajavaram. Shaurya has a habit of losing balance whenever he comes to the Rangabali centre. Shaurya shares a good rapport with MLA Parasuram (Shine Tom Chachko). Shaurya’s father (Goparaju Ramana) lives a decent life by ruining a medical shop, he sends Shaurya to Vizag.

The hero's father thinks that the Vizag trip might change Shaurya. He falls in love with a medical student Sahaja (Yukti Thareja). What’s the connection between Shaurya’s love for Rangabali centre? What’s the relationship between MLA and Shaurya? To know the flashback of Rangabali, one should watch the film in theatres.

Performances:

Naga Shaurya does a sincere job as a showperson in the film. Comedian Satya is a showstopper.

Saptagiri, Goparaju Ramana, Rajkumar Kasireddy, Murali Sharma and Subhaleka Sudhakar are very good in their respective parts. Credit goes to Tom Shine Chacko for shining in the role of a neat villain who waits for redemption.

Plus Points :

Comedy involving Satya and Naga Shaurya.
Shaurya's performance.
The first half.
The father-son relationship.
The sentimental backstory.

Minus Points

Outdated story.
The second half with weak scenes.
The whole climax with ridiculous ideas.
Unoriginal dialogues.
Forced songs.

Verdict: Rangabali is a feel-good film. Watch it with your low expectations. The first half comedy entertains you. The comedy is good but the writing is extremely sily after a point.
