Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor has debuted a new look, delighting fans amid the shoot of the highly anticipated film 'Ramayana'. On Tuesday, hair stylist Aalim Hakim shared close-up pictures of Ranbir sporting neatly styled hair and a trimmed beard. Wearing a black t-shirt and sunglasses, the actor's fresh appearance garnered praise from fans who flooded the comments with fire and heart emojis.

In 'Ramayana', directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ranbir portrays the lead role of Lord Ram, with Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana. The eagerly awaited epic is targeting a Diwali 2025 release. Leaked images from the sets previously revealed Ranbir's remarkable physical transformation, having shed considerable weight after his role in the film 'Animal'.

Sources reveal Tiwari aims to shoot the childhood portions of Ram, where Guru Vashishtha imparts lessons to Ram and his brothers. The director intends to present the closest adaptation of the epic, exercising caution to accurately depict every aspect of the sacred texts. The goal is not only to create a visual spectacle but also to educate future generations.

After completing his 'Ramayana' commitments by July, Ranbir will begin preparations for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Love & War', co-starring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. He is expected to shoot his solo portions for the film towards the end of 2024.
