Indian 2 and Game Changer Release Dates Out!

Renowned filmmaker Shankar is targeting July 17, 2024 for the release of Kamal Haasan's highly awaited 'Indian 2'. This vigilante drama is part of the 'Indian' franchise featuring Kamal Haasan in the lead role. After 'Indian 2', Shankar's next project will be 'Game Changer' starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani.

Shankar has major plans to deliver three major releases within 12 months. According to sources from the industry, 'Game Changer' could hit the big screens between the window of October to January. This could likely be to target the lucrative release during the festive season of Dussehra, Diwali, Christmas, or Sankranti.

Following the release of 'Game Changer', Shankar is expected to commence work on 'Indian 3', with plans to release the third installment of the Indian franchise during the summer of 2025.

While 'Indian 2' is reportedly ready, the team is gearing up to shoot a song sequence featuring Kamal Haasan over five days in May. This will mark the final wrap-up for the highly anticipated project.

Shooting of 'Game Changer' has also commenced with Ram Charan travelling to Chennai on short schedules. Earlier a leaked video from the set was doing rounds on social media. 'Game Changer' marks the first movie of Ram Charan following the blockbuster 'RRR'. 

Shankar's films address current social concerns, explore vigilante concepts, and employ cutting-edge technology and VFX. He stands out as the sole contemporary director undertaking the production of three films simultaneously. Given Shankar's ambitious agenda and the buzz surrounding the 'Indian' franchise and 'Game Changer', the forthcoming 12 months promise to be an exciting period for Indian cinema.
