Is Chandrababu Scared Of Truth: Ramana Deekshitulu

TTD Ex-head Priest Ramana Deekshitulu and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu - Sakshi Post

Amaravati: TDP Minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy's recent comments on TTD Ex-head Priest Ramana Deekshitulu are creating a furore in the opposition parties. Condemning the criticism, BJP Rajya Sabha MP GVL Narasimha Rao responded on Twitter. His tweet read, "Watch the highly condemnable rants & conduct of a senior minister in Chandrababu cabinet to "Jail & Thrash" the ex-Chief Priest of Lord Balaji temple in Tirumala for raising concerns. First removed him & now the jail threat. What are you scared of @ncbn?"

In his latest tweet, the Parliamentarian called Chandrababu the new intolerant Sultan of South India. "Threatening ex-Chief Priest, Tirumala of arrest for raising concerns of theft shows APCM @ncbn is scared of revelations. Or, he is the new intolerant Sultan of South. Earlier, @ncbn appointed non-Hindus to TTD Board. @ncbn must sack minister or apologize," he said.

Members of the Brahman Seva Sangh also condemned the minister's comments. "Somireddy should immediately apologize to Brahmins. He should take back his words, otherwise we will stage a protest in Tirumala. The state government should take the responsibility for consequences," they demanded.

Somireddy apologises for comments on Deekshitulu

Withing 24 hours from making controvertial comments on the TTD Ex-head Priest, Somireddy apologized for his objectionable comments. "Please excuse me. I should not have said those words," he said during the TDP Mahanadu in Vijayawada on Sunday.
