Bigg Boss 2 Unlucky For New Telugu Releases?

Nani's Telugu Bigg Boss 2 is getting more popular than Junior NTR's Season-1 by the day. It has been fifty days since the show went on air and it has been receiving a thumping response from the audiences.

Yesterday's bigg boss episode was entertaining and marked fifty days of its run on the small screen. Moreover, none of the contestants got eliminated from the show. On the other hand, Nani announced two the re-entry of two contestants as re-entry on the show. The duo had received 12 Cr votes from the Telugu audiences.

There is no doubt that Bigg Boss 2 has been enthralling the audiences but looks like the same luck isn't working for Tollywood stars who went on the show to promote their movies.

According to sources, Bigg Boss 2 has created a kind of negative sentiment in Tollywood circles. Ever since the show started several actors have been to the show to promote their films such as Manchu Lakshmi's W/O Rama and Sai Dharam Tej's Tej I Love You. Both these films proved to be box office duds at the box office.

When you compare movies promoted on Bigg Boss 2 with those on season-1 hosted by NTR, the latter seem to have fared well at the box office. If you take a look at the films such as Rana's Nenu Raju Nena Mantri, Tapsee's Anando Brahma, and NTR's Jai Lava Kusa, all these movies which were released last year became blockbuster hits of 2017.

NTR is ahead of Nani in terms of movie promotions and their success in reality show. The show will have more Tollywood stars coming on the show to promote their movies. We have to wait and watch how much business those films would do at the box office.

Meanwhile, on the career front, NTR is gearing up for Trivikram's Aravinda Sametha which is all set to hit the big screens on October 10. Let us remind you all, that the teaser of Aravinda Sametha will be out on August 15 @3:37 pm. Pooja Hedge will be seen playing NTR's love interest in the film. Nani is busy with shoot of his upcoming flick which also features Nagarjuna in the lead role.
