CBI files two more chargesheets in YS Jagan Mohan Reddy case
The CBI which is probing the quid pro quo investment case against YSR Congress Party president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy filed two more chargesheets at Nampally court in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
Major industries minister J. Geeta Reddy has been named in the charge sheet relating to Lepakshi knowledge Hub, as the accused number nine. Geetha Reddy is the fourth minister to be charged by the CBI in this case.
Besides Geetha Reddy, others named in the charge-sheets are former ministers Dharmana Prasada Rao (accused-11) and Sabitha Indra Reddy (accused -8) and IAS officers- Ratna Prabha, Shyambabu, Samuel, BP Acharya and Muraleedhar Reddy.
The CBI filed charge sheets against Lepakshi Knowledge Hub (LKH) and Indu Tech Zone in a special CBI court.
Jagan is under judicial remand and lodged in the Chanchalguda Jail since May 27 last year in connection with the quid pro quo case. The agency has so far filed ten chargesheets in Jagan's case in the last 15 months.
