Chandrababu-TDP MPs’ Telecon Over Video Clips

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh chief minister and TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu remarked that some forces were planning to dilute the protest of their party MPs. In his teleconference with TDP MPs, he said some people were trying to portray the party MPs in a bad light and hence they had released doctored video clips in which they are seen referring to the protest in a lighter vein. Chandrababu said that the image of of the party suffered on account of the MPs.

TDP chief said that the video clips were fake. He mentioned to the MPs at the teleconference that the statements of MPs Murali Mohan and Avanti Srinivas were a cut and paste job. He promised to hold an inquiry into the video clip and proper action would be taken against those responsible for it.

With the video clip going viral, Chandrababu has taken the issue seriously and held a teleconference. He told the leaders not to undermine the protest and the fight by MPs for the Kadapa steel plant. He told all the MPs to beware of conspirators and called upon all of them to stand united.

Chandrababu said there was a need to inform the public about the injustice meted to AP due to central government. It was crucial phase and MPs should restrain from speaking to everybody. During the teleconference MPs explained about the video clip and informed the CM that their statements were twisted.
